In 1791, the first Sutherland Mill was opened in Central Kentucky.

 

 

From that point forward, the Sutherland Family became an industry leader in processing corn and wheat grains. In the 1960’s a seasoned flour was created and developed by D.B. Sutherland and Son’s that would change the landscape of their business.

The popularity of this seasoned flour broadened their

business model and became the stepping stone for the future.

 

Instead of concentrating on milling our wheat and corn, Dan and Sue Sutherland became innovative and established Blend Pak. Blend Pak Inc. was established in the early 1990’s.

Blend Pak Inc. is a blender and co-packer that manufactures batter, coating and marinade systems, as well as ingredients and food service items for the modern food industry.
